Flo Technologies
Flo Technologies, an industry leader in smart home water security, announced the new Flo by Moen Smart Water Detector! This intuitive sensor can be placed anywhere in the house and can alert users if, and when, it detects moisture to help prevent water damage and loss. The Smart Water Detector is capable of working in conjunction with, or independently from, the Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff, a device that proactively identifies leaks anywhere in a home’s water supply and automatically shuts the water off. The Smart Water Detector is available for preorder now! The Smart Water Detector’s presence at CES stirred up some buzz in outlets like the Associated Press, WIRED, CNET and more.
Formlabs
Formlabs, a leading 3D printing technology company, highlighted several exciting partnerships that portray the diversity of creation when users invent with Formlabs machines. The company’s CES booth featured products such as vibrators from Dame Products, a vertebra representing the Mayo Clinic’s Department of Radiology’s Anatomic Modeling Lab, and even a new line of shoes from New Balance – all products made possible with Formlabs technology.
Additionally, Formlabs just announced their new program, “Formlabs Community Spaces.” The program hopes to facilitate in-person access to digital workflows and grow Formlabs’ shared communities through collaboration with Technology Community Spaces. Ring
Ring, whose mission is to make neighborhoods safer, announced its new Control Center alongside six new products at CES 2020. The first is an expansion of the Ring Smart Lighting line to include smart LED lightbulbs and solar power. The new bulbs will include a standard A19 ($14.99 each) and floodlight-sized PAR38 bulbs for existing fixtures ($24.99 each). The solar-powered additions include the Solar Steplight ($29.99), Solar Pathlight ($39.99) and Solar Floodlight ($89.99). Both the bulbs and solar lights will be available for purchase later this year. Additionally, Ring announced it’s new Access Controller Pro ($299), a device that allows users with powered gates to remotely operate them from the Ring app. The Access Controller is available now for purchase.
