Tell us a little bit about your background.
I was born and raised in New England and recently graduated from Boston University. While studying English and Communications in college, I became interested in the fast-paced environment of Public Relations that combined my love for writing and involvement in the news and media. I first interned at a beauty and lifestyle PR agency while studying abroad in London, and I was lucky enough to land an internship at BIGfish during my senior year of college.
What attracted you to BIGfish?
During my internship experience here, I enjoyed the small size of the agency and working with clients in the tech field. BIGfish has a unique internship program that gives you a lot of independence and hands-on projects, and I felt like my work really made a difference. I am continually impressed by the work culture and ethic of the entire team, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to come on board as a full-time employee.
Describe yourself in 5 words.
Ready for everything and anything.
What’s your favorite food?
Anything with pesto on it.
What are you most excited to experience living in Boston post-grad?
Even though I’ve lived here my whole life, there are still plenty areas of Boston that I want to explore. There are so many amazing concerts, museums, and things to do in this city that it’s impossible to get bored. I’ve actually never even been on a Duck Tour (shocking, I know), so I’m making that my top priority!
What do you hope to accomplish in your new role?
I’m most excited to dive into BIGfish’s PR campaigns and work directly with the clients. I’m looking forward to brainstorming new ideas and angles for stories to tell.
Anything else we should know about you?
I’m completely tone-deaf, but I’m obsessed with Broadway musicals. A personal goal of mine is to one day hit the last note in “Defying Gravity.”
