Our favorite outdoor home security system, Ring, is giving its flagship product a tune up with the release of the second generation Ring Video Doorbell. BIGfish originally helped launch the Ring Video Doorbell in 2014 and it has quickly grown to become the most popular video doorbell on the market. Staying true to the Ring Video Doorbell’s most popular features, two-way audio and motion detection, the new device now offers 1080p HD video recording, a removable, rechargeable battery, improved night vision, interchangeable faceplates and a familiar, sleek design.
With over 1 millions users and half a billion “moments” a month, Ring’s new product is continuing the company’s commitment to reduce crime in neighborhoods. The Ring Video Doorbell 2 ($199) is available today in the more than 15,000 U.S. retail locations Ring devices are sold in, including Best Buy and Home Depot, as well as at ring.com.
