The BIGteam is excited to have our new spring intern in the office this semester! Joining the team is Lauren Rodolakis, a junior at Boston University, whose love of PR is only matched by her love for her dog, Eddy. We are all excited to see the great work Lauren will turn out this semester. We had her answer a few questions about herself and her aspirations – read on to find out what she has to say!

Tell us a little bit about your background:
I am a junior at Boston University studying public relations. I have previously interned at a student-run PR agency, a B2B PR agency, and a healthcare company doing corporate PR. Outside of class and BIGfish, I also work on the executive board of my sorority and give tours of BU’s campus for the admissions office!
What attracted you to BIGfish?
I love the smaller size of BIGfish and the amount of responsibility they give their interns! In the short amount of time I have been here I have already learned way more than I could’ve imagined. The location in Brookline Village with its awesome variety of restaurants was a definite plus too.
Describe yourself in 5 words:
Easy-going, extrovert, storyteller, funny (at least I think so), and ambitious.
What’s your favorite food?
I tell everyone it is steak because I feel like it’s the more socially acceptable answer, but in reality, it’s definitely pickles.
What are you most excited to experience now that you’re living in Boston?
Coming from a small town in Western MA, I love all of the options for constant entertainment. Whether it’s shopping on Newbury, seeing a concert at the House of Blues, or watching a Red Sox game at Fenway, I know I’ll never be bored!
What do you hope to accomplish in your new role?
Since BIGfish is my first real agency experience, I hope to become a better multi-tasker and improve on my ability to shift focus from client to client while still meeting their individual needs.
Anything else we should know about you?
I have the best dog in the world. His name is Eddy and he is adorable.
My favorite movie is Good Will Hunting, a typical Boston cliche.
I love traveling. I have studied abroad in London and I am planning on studying and interning in Sydney, Australia this summer!
