Tell us a little bit about your background: I started my career in political communications and public affairs in Texas. I moved up to Boston six years ago, working on the global communications team for a large retailer, before making my way into the tech agency world. I have worked on a huge variety of clients including data analytics, 3D printing and advertising and marketing tech firms.
What attracted you to BIGfish? I was instantly impressed by the team’s deep understanding of their clients’ businesses but also by the focus of internal growth for all BIGfish employees. Most agencies don’t see their interns grow their career to become a partner and that speaks directly to the strong company culture and supportive environment that BIGfish has fostered.
Describe yourself in 5 words: Southern. Sarcastic. Short. Loyal. Hangry.
What’s your favorite food? My all-time favorite dish is my grandmother’s roast, rice & gravy (she was the BEST cook!) but I could also happily eat Texas BBQ and Mexican food every day for the rest of my life.
What is your favorite thing to do in Boston? It’s hard to beat a summer night at Fenway, but I also love taking my two rescue dogs on hikes or to dog friendly beaches year round.
What do you hope to accomplish in your new role? So many things! I am excited to dig into my clients’ businesses and to grow as a manager with my team.
Anything else we should know about you? I love cooking new recipes and sharing that food with friends and family. I am also obsessed with my two rescue dogs, Jackson and Astro, and believe they truly are the best dogs in the entire world. And I wouldn’t be doing my home state proud if I didn’t also include that I used to teach two step and swing dance lessons at one of the last true dancehalls in Austin, Texas!
