The BIGfish team just keeps getting bigger! We’re excited to introduce our newest Account Coordinator, Chelsea, who joins us from New York (and she brought all her peanut butter with her).

Name: Chelsea Higgins
Twitter: @chelseahiggins2
LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chelseahiggins2
Hometown: East Greenbush, NY
Tell us a little bit about your background: I grew up in Upstate New York and just graduated from Providence College in May. During the summers throughout college, I worked as a waitress in Schroon Lake, NY. Waitressing taught me the importance of good customer service and also showed me how much I love working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. I became passionate about public relations after interning at an agency my junior year of college. The internship combined my love of high-pressure atmospheres, client interaction and the news. After that experience I knew that public relations was the right career path for me.
What attracted you to BIGfish? The clients that BIGfish serves first drew me to the company. I’ve always been interested in tech, and BIGfish had the clients that I wanted to work with. After reviewing their case studies, I knew that BIGfish would be the best company for me to grow with and, more importantly, truly make a difference telling clients’ stories. Once I interviewed and was able to meet the team, I knew BIGfish was the right choice for me.
Describe yourself in 5 words: Curious, adaptable, passionate, witty, adventurous
What’s your favorite food? Peanut Butter (Skippy’s creamy…obviously). If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be peanut butter.
What are you most excited to experience now that you’re living in Boston? I’ve already made a list of all the things I want to do now that I’m living in Boston (currently it’s at 30, but I have a feeling it’s going to keep growing). On the top of my list is to go kayaking on the Charles River and go to the Harvard v. Yale football game.
What do you hope to accomplish in your new role? I really hope to make a difference for our clients in my new role. I want to help get the media coverage they need to tell their story, which means lending a hand wherever the account team needs it. There is no task too big or small.
Anything else we should know about you? I’m hopelessly addicted to reality TV. Whether it is the Bachelorette, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, or The Challenge, I can’t turn it off.

BIG fish PR is an unconventional agency that helps its clients redefine their industries.
