Snapchat, the ever-evolving photo-messaging company, has transformed a lot since CEO Evan Spiegel began working on the project five years ago. Starting solely as a way to share photos privately for a limited amount of time, the company combined private and public content on its app through the introduction of Stories and the most recent addition of Memories. But over the weekend, the company announced one of its biggest changes yet: they are dropping the “chat” and becoming Snap Inc.
