We are so excited to welcome recent George Washington University graduate, Julia Albert, to the BIGteam as our summer 2020 intern! We are also thrilled to have Emily Rosenberg, intern alum, join us as a full-time Account Coordinator.

Tell us a little bit about your background: I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from The George Washington University in May 2020. When I started at GW, I was obsessed with broadcast journalism, and I served as the PR Director and then the President of GW’s student-run broadcast station. While pursuing journalism and continuing to explore the field of communication, I discovered a particular passion for strategic communication and crisis management. I was fortunate to develop these interests through classes and various internships as an undergraduate student. Most recently, I completed an internship at Bracewell LLP in Washington D.C. where I aided the firm’s strategic communication and government relations initiatives. Given my interest in the tech industry, I am very excited to further my PR and strategic communication experience at BIGfish while gaining exposure to a variety of innovative and exciting clients.
What attracted you to BIGfish? I was attracted to BIGfish because of the collaborative environment, fascinating and innovative clients, and the opportunities I saw for professional growth.

What’s your favorite food?: Sushi
What do you hope to accomplish in this internship?: I hope to positively impact clients with my skills in writing, audience targeting, and research, while continuing to develop as a successful strategic communicator and effective leader.
Anything else we should know about you?: I have two cats, Rusty and Fluffernutter, (who may make an appearance on Google Meets), I absolutely love Boston, and summer is my favorite season.
