The BIGfish team is growing! Yesterday, Adriana Howell joined the team as our new Account Coordinator, and will be supporting the account management team by planning and executing public relations and social media campaigns, among many other things. We had her answer a few questions about herself and her aspirations – read on to find out what she has to say!
Name: Adriana Howell
Hometown: Crawfordsville, IN
Tell us a little bit about your background: I’m a born-and-raised Hoosier who recently graduated from Ball State University with a degree in public relations. I was fortunate enough to gain two years of agency experience through our student-run creative communications agency, Cardinal Communications. My most recent internship was with Visit Indy, where I loved promoting the city of Indianapolis as a tourist destination. These experiences helped me develop a true passion for the public relations industry.
What attracted you to BIGfish? I’ve had my eye on the Boston area for several years, but BIGfish stood out to me specifically because it’s such a talented company. Though it’s a small company, BIGfish has gained amazing coverage for its clients and accomplished some incredible things. I was impressed by the team’s abilities, and I knew I wanted to be part of that.
Describe yourself in 5 words: Quiet, but enthusiastic and friendly.
What’s your favorite food? Bacon, no question.
What are you most excited to experience now that you’re living in Boston? There are so many things! I’ve always loved Boston’s history. I’m looking forward to exploring the city and learning more about it.
What do you hope to accomplish in your new role? I love exceeding clients’ expectations. I’m ready to learn more about each of our clients in order to help them accomplish their individual goals. I’m also excited to get to know the team and learn from all of them!
