Hometown: Dyersburg, Tennessee
Tell us a little bit about your background: I am a graduate student at Boston University studying public relations. Previously, I served as a public relations intern for the Oxford-Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce in Mississippi, where I published news releases and created the organization’s first newsletter. Earlier, I was a social media intern at HottyToddy.com, an online news agency in Mississippi, where I produced news packages and multimedia advertisements for 1.8 million annual unique viewers. I graduated from the University of Mississippi in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in public policy and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a broadcast emphasis and a specialization in public relations.
I am looking forward to working in an agency setting and exploring the technology sector of public relations at BIGfish this semester!
What attracted you to BIGfish? I liked the idea of working with a close-knit group of practitioners who genuinely enjoy their work and achieve impressive results both in Boston and well beyond it.
Describe yourself in 5 words: Outgoing, adventurous, dedicated, methodical and happy.
What’s your favorite food?: Anything Mexican and covered in queso!
What do you hope to accomplish in this internship?: I am hoping to learn how to use press clipping technologies, write for today’s on-the-go audiences and understand the agency-client relationship.
Anything else we should know about you?: I love traveling! This past summer, I planned a trip with two friends to London, Paris, Athens, Santorini, Mykonos, Paros and Cairo. Even though my bank account is struggling a little bit, I am already looking forward to my next adventure.

Hometown: Sudbury, MA
Tell us a little bit about your background: I am a junior studying public relations at Boston University! I spent this past summer juggling my time between two internships here in Boston: one doing in-house PR at a large nonprofit, and the other at a small boutique public relations agency. The two experiences could not have been more different, and both helped me to expand my view of the public relations industry. I have never worked in tech before, so I am excited to broaden my horizons at BIGfish!
When I’m not working or studying, I love taking yoga classes and exploring Boston’s green spaces.
What attracted you to BIGfish? BIGfish is a small agency with big clients. The opportunity to work with such innovative clients excited me and was something I had never done before! I was also attracted to the dynamic and committed work environment that BIGfish has. Everyone is so hard working and is really passionate about their work.
Describe yourself in 5 words: Motivated, organized, driven, passionate and outgoing.
What’s your favorite food?: Anything from UBurger in Kenmore Square!
What do you hope to accomplish in this internship?: I’m looking forward to learning more about PR in the tech industry and perfecting my pitches.
Anything else we should know about you?: I’m spending next semester studying and interning abroad in Sydney, Australia!

BIG fish PR is an unconventional agency that helps its clients redefine their industries.
