Hometown: Winchester, MA
Tell us a little bit about your background: I am a rising senior studying public relations at Syracuse University in Central New York. I have had internships where I worked with clients in education, politics and non-profit industries. My ultimate dream job would be working in PR for the NFL team the Pittsburgh Steelers!
What attracted you to BIGfish? Last summer I worked at a small firm, and I really wanted that experience again. Smaller agencies  allows me to get hands-on experience and actually participate in the daily life of a PR firm. I also love all the really cool, innovative clients BIGfish works with!
Describe yourself in 5 words: Sarcastic, positive, adventurous, caring, friendly
What’s your favorite food? Mac and cheese
What do you hope to accomplish in this internship? I really hope to learn how to write better pitches and secure media placement for clients. I also want to learn how to form relationships with reporters.
Anything else we should know about you? I am a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan! My dog is named after former player Troy Polamalu.

Tell us a little bit about your background: I am from a tiny town in Western Massachusetts, but I moved to Boston two years ago to attend Boston University. Currently, I am a junior in the College of Communications studying PR and English. This past spring I completed an internship at the Boston Symphony Orchestra press office, which was very important to me since I spent 15 years studying the violin. When I’m not in class, I serve on the executive board of my sorority.
What attracted you to BIGfish? Initially, I was attracted to BIGfish because of its size and charisma. The atmosphere created by a close-knit team of smart professionals is truly something special and I feel privileged to be a part of it.
Describe yourself in 5 words: Happy, bookworm, fun, loving, driven
What’s your favorite food? My mom’s pancakes!
What do you hope to accomplish in this internship? I hope to become more comfortable with the skills and techniques that are necessary to succeed in this field.
Anything else we should know about you? On the weekends I work at a retail store called Reformation, so I will be on Newbury Street every day this summer!
