There’s no denying that Boston has lots of delicious restaurants: Tavern Road, The Salty Pig and Bostonia Public House are a few of our personal faves, but on any given day, you’ll most likely find us at a local Brookline establishment grabbing lunch, celebrating a birthday or having a holiday party. Whatever the occasion, there’s always a delicious option right around the corner. We’ve highlighted a few of our favorites below:
While BIGfish’s current office space has been praised by Fast Company for its design, things didn’t start out that way. In fact, when the company was founded in 1999 by our fearless leader David Gerzof Richard, the space didn’t even have windows. But our upgraded, sunlit office isn’t the only mark of growth for this formerly one-man operation.
It's hard to believe that it's already the end of August; this summer has (sadly) flown by. Over the last several weeks, we've been wrapping things up with our two summer interns, Julia and Kelly. Julia, our PR intern, worked hard all summer long building media lists, contributing to the BIGfish Twitter account, tracking clients' press mentions and much more. Kelly, our crafty copywriter, wrote dozens of articles for client Iceland Naturally, blog posts for BIGfish and pitches. We're definitely going to miss having them around, but wish them the best of luck as they head back to school this fall.
In case you haven’t heard, BIGfsh is a finalist in BostInno’s 2015 Coolest Companies competition! We always thought we were pretty cool, but it’s nice to hear it from somebody else, too. In fact, last month, BostInno included us in its “Coolest Company Outings” roundup for our company trips to Vegas, Panama, Iceland and everywhere in between! Now it’s time for you to help: through this Friday, August 7, BostInno is accepting votes for the “Readers’ Choice” award. Click here to vote for us now! It only takes a few seconds.
Boston is brimming with technology startups, with established “unicorns” like DraftKings and innovative new players cropping up every week. With so many tech companies and startups in the area, there are plenty of tech-focused events that enable techies, investors and enthusiasts to mingle, network and learn from one another - and the August calendar is really heating up.
